Initially, the first objective is to prevent solid wastes and drain waste waters from causing pollution of ground by creating impermeable layers at regular storage sites. The drain waste waters are transported to the treatment facility through the drainage pipes laid to the base/bottom layer of the layers. For the gases which may form from the wastes with the predominance of Methane (such as CH4, CO2, NH3, H2S), funnels are created, thus the risk of exploding and bad odors are prevented. The wastes are laid at the height of approximately 50 cm. each and they are compressed with steel cylinder compactors. When the thickness of 150-200 cm. is obtained, it is coated with 30 cm, layer of soil. When the layers in planned numbers were completed, they are compressed by laying earth and clay on top of it. After completion of the sanitary solid land filling, the impermeability is prevented (by compressing soil plus clay) and the rain waters will be prevented from mixing into the field. After laying the vegetable soil, the planting activity will be carried out. When this final coat is completed, recreational areas may be built on this area.
